What to do...

Today I was thinking about some fun field trips that you can do in the Hudson Valley. With summer fast approaching, the lead teacher in my room and I have been trying to think of places to travel to that are close with our students. In early April, we discovered that many of our students did not even know what we lived so close to a historic site.
Field trips are a great way to get students to really dive into the information they are being taught. By allowing students to get a hands on experience with things they are learning, I believe that it makes them more in engaged in the subject that they are learning.
